Thank you for visiting! Let me tell you a little bit about The Runaway Geek. He is a normal (i think!) city state citizen, seemingly trapped in a never-ending rush to fulfill and achieve the dreams and expectations of society. However, all was not as rosy as it seemed. Underneath that ever pursuing, ever chasing wanna-be life, The Runaway Geek realised that he began to lost the true meaning of life - that is to be truly authentically happy. By the way, he was working in the line of Headhunting, or recruitment for more than 4 years…
The Runaway Geek decided to run away and quit his job, taking time off to travel the world, experiencing what life offers beyond his shores. It was a mesmerizing journey that awakened him to his senses. While he acknowledges the importance of being happy, enjoying life, and seeing the world, he also knows the practical importance of the $$$.
It is with this hope that this website is borned, wanting to showcase the lifestyle and possibility of combining the travel and money making aspect, through a job, freelancing or even a business! He hopes to provide the content, contacts, skill sets and connection to empower the Runaway within you! Not running away from reality, but running towards a more fulfilling life.
